Chairperson’s Report

Empowering People in Communities (EPIC) Incorporated Executive team and all teams across the various regional offices and sites have had yet another incredibly busy year.

Each year we reflect on what has been and the 2023/2024 year has certainly highlighted many opportunities for improvement and continued focus on managing compliance and ensuring quality services that not only meet but are of the highest quality in regard to the NDIS regulatory requirements.

This year has seen collaboration between our board, executive and management teams to bring together and implement the next 5-year strategic plan.  This presents an opportunity to build on our overall organisational culture and apply a continued quality service delivery whilst finding ways to enhance support and emphasis on how much we value our employees.

I am particularly proud of our efforts to secure supported independent living options for our clients across all of the key areas of operation within our regions and look forward to realising the Goldfields infrastructure project which has experienced some setbacks along the way.

Each and every year brings new and exciting times for our Epic community, and I am proud to walk alongside such incredible humans with the spirit of generosity and kindness that ensures the wellbeing and care of our clients is at the forefront of everything we do.  It has once again been a privilege to be on this every evolving journey.

Sincerely

Shanine Ryan
Chairperson
